Homes of Hope is a 43-acre Fijian village that:
- Rescues girls and their children from the streets and the brothels.
- Gives victims a safe place to live, where families can receive physical, mental and spiritual healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Helps them get an education, learn how to run a business and earn their own money.
At Homes of Hope, girls and women who have known exploitation and slavery are building self respect and learning how to live normal, productive lives in an environment of acceptance, understanding, peace and love. Their children can experience childhood surrounded by love as they grow and attend school in the Village. The cycle is breaking. Lives are changing at Homes of Hope as exploited girls, women and their children:
- Enter a discipleship program where they find their restoration in Christ.
- Receive shelter, education, food and counseling. They are allowed to stay for as long as 10 years.
- Recover and become stable enough to be productive members of society.
- Learn to manage their own money.
- Earn a salary in the on-site bakery, bed and breakfast, or floral shop that supplies flowers and arrangements to hotels and resorts.
- Save toward the day they can be living independently.
- Purchase their own homes in the village. When they move on, every penny they put into the home goes back to the girl to give her a start in her new life.
