Whether they are church leaders planning to take the vision back to their congregations or individuals using their own unique skills to build the Village and support the women and children who are finding hope there, a trip to Homes of Hope is an intensely personal hands-on experience for each individual. It is not a vacation. Rather, it is a commitment to building a future for girls, women and children who are finding their way to a new life.
The Homes of Hope needs include:
- Construction, everything from basic labor to skilled trades
- Medical and dental treatment, including doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists and specialists.
- Entrepreneurs to help set up businesses.
- Volunteers who will also personally interact with residents on a one-on-one basis to serve as positive role models
- Committed individuals who can help send a friend with needed skills.
- Catch the vision.
- Understand the plight on a more personal level.
- Help develop the Village.
- Meet residents of the Village and hear their stories.
- Gain a deeper insight into the dark world of sex trafficking.
